Advent: A Season of Anticipation

The season of Advent is the four weeks leading up to Christmas.  On each of these four weeks we light a candle and reflect on an aspect of waiting for the arrival of Jesus:  Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.  On Christmas Eve we light the Christ candle and celebrate his life.

• Nov.27 First Sunday of Advent: Hope

This year, advent begins on Nov.27.  We will light the candle of Hope and reflect of the gift of hope.
