Traps to Avoid

For what do we give thanks today?

Love God With All Your Very

Love the Lord your God with all your very. This is not the typical way we hear this verse, but it is a request to give out of the excess of our beings. What muchness do we personally have that God is calling us to serve Him with? A question that is difficult to answer, but important to ponder.

Same Mission But Not The Same Parts

As Chris reads 1 Corinthians 12: 12-28. he is reminded that we are certainly not all the same but we have the same mission. God has given each of us unique roles and gifts in order to bring about his mission. We must remember that we are a part of a body, HIS BODY, and that we need each other to carry out his mission.

Philippians 2

Chris reflects on Philippians 2 and the call to be humble and seek the interests of others. In light of Alan’s call to Love God, love people and achieve the mission, how can we humble ourselves and seek to lift each other up? How can we lay aside our grumbling and angry words and bring life and shine like stars in a world flooded with darkness?
