How can we use the gifts and talents God has given us to praise and worship? These classes are designed to help you develop your creative abilities as you enter into worship. How can we inspire worship and call others into praise through the arts? Classes will run weekly for 6 weeks. John Murray will be teaching on how to use your singing voice as an instrument of worship, evangelism, and ministry to others.
Classes will be held in the Highland Park sanctuary, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday evenings. Classes will run from Monday, October 17th to Monday, November 21st.

In this class we will be exploring some ways to use visual art to worship and to share with others. One specific topic we will be focusing on is Bible Journaling* – through drawing, painting, word art/journaling & mixed media. We will primarily be using pencil, coloured pencils, watercolour, acrylics, pens & mixed papers on bible, journal and canvas bases.

A course on ‘sculpting’. The course will run for 6 weeks starting Oct. 19, Wednesday night, 7:00 in the dining area of church. A theme for people hopefully to follow of how Christ’s influence has directed your life through worship, evangelism, & teachings.

What does it take to be a worship leader? In this course we will navigate the path of learning to worship for the purpose of leading. How can we live out our church’s purpose statement “to praise and worship God; and to mature and assist others in maturing toward the image of Christ.” Each class will consist of 45 minutes of theory and a song incorporated for practice
